Had a blast of a weekend in Germany pinstriping out of the Dickies booth and hanging with fellow kustom kulture nutters.
I did this white skate deck for Dickies as well as some striping on a camera and a helmet. But moron as I am I forgot to take photos of the finished projects. So you’ll have to do with a teaser, until I get in touch with people and have them send me some photos.
Above to the left is Arie who makes the Two Wheel Terrors and Hot Rod Havoc movies with his brother Mark. Right is Michael from J.D.A Bare Metal Customs, who is also the man behind Bottrop Kustom Kulture meet. Arie and Michael built the bikes that was shown in the Dickies booth.
Below they’re on stage promoting the just released Two Wheel Terrors 2 DVD
I also finally got to meet two very talented people in person. The wicked cool photographer Dirk Behlau a.k.a. Pixeleye, and the insanely skilled pinstriper Maze. Those guys are crazy to the core. We had fun like it was our last day on the planet Saturday night. We all went to the after party with Dirk’s girlfriend Jessica the editor of Dynamite magazine, and a bunch of other nice people. A night that is heavily documented in this Flickr gallery.
